About us and our services

Happy World is a London based company, expanding with branches in other countries too. As lawyers we are committed to defending the rights of people from all over the world for freedom of movement and settlement in the country of their choice to the best possible extend.

Following a customer research, since January 1996 we transferred most of our work on the Internet, which leaded us to helping more customers immigrate at 5 times (80%) cheaper rates.

Since we launched our web site, we have answered several thousand e-mail, fax and telephone inquiries, all without charge. Thank you for your tremendous response to our web page.

However, the volume of inquiries has grown too large for us to be able to answer each of you individually. Therefore we have introduced the following charges:

Freedom and Loyalty in Immigration Services
A Statement of Our Philosophy

When Happy World was founded in 1985, it revolutionized the immigration industry by allowing immigrants to choose their destination for living, working or studying. It set these policies to help correct past abuses in which immigrant’s cases were left unfinished, given no input on the deposits for the services they subscribed to, or frustrated by agencies that refused to tell them where their documents went or even to answer their phone calls or letters.

The balance was totally lopsided in favor of the agencies at the expense of immigrants, and Happy World was determined to improve the industry by giving the power to the immigrants.

This power does not come without responsibilities, however. And while the freedom of movement that has become an industry standard has improved the way agencies and immigrants do business, the new system can also be abused to the detriment of all, including immigrants.

This abuse can take the form of immigrants who try to immigrate to the country they choose every time their contracts come up for renewal. We have repeatedly been approached - and have repeatedly turned down - agents and lawyers representing immigrants who had willingly joined an agency only to turn their backs on it a few months later.

Rather than rewarding agencies that work hard to establish their services with the immigration authorities, these immigrants punish them for short-term gain, once they land on the destination country.
In the long run, this discourages agencies from risking their reputations and financial assets by investing in people that are likely to leave them in a few months.

It is for this reason that Happy World Agency does not take part in these destructive representation wars and discourages immigrants who are working with dedicated agencies from putting their cases on the auctioning block.

Agencies and immigrants build relationships based on trust and cooperation. The investment of time, money and effort by an agency should be repaid with loyalty and dedication by the immigrant for this system to work. Otherwise, the industry will be enmeshed in a spiraling tangle of manipulation and bidding wars, leaving agencies little opportunity or motivation to help and serve talented new immigrants. Even by an optimistic estimate, it takes at least 2 years for an agency to recoup its initial investment in an immigration case.

If everyone participated in bidding wars, then it would be just a matter of time before all agencies once again demanded higher fees for their services. This would be a devastating step backward for the industry.

Of course, in cases where agencies have been negligent and refuse to serve in good faith, immigrants are perfectly justified in seeking new partners - this is their right. But when agencies live up to their side of the bargain, immigrants should remain loyal - it's the respectable response.

Happy World online includes this statement with our services guidelines because we want our position and principles to be clear. We have revolutionized the immigration business with our open-handed respect for people’s rights, but it takes commitment and loyalty from immigrants in return to make these changes endure. If you share this vision, and we agree to take your case, we look forward to a long and successful relationship.
